Heat Reflector

Heat is easily absorbed into the fireback, which cause the bricks to crack and the mortar to break down, which can lead to expensive repairs. Also, there can be significant heat loss through the chimney, instead of heat reflecting into the home.

Also, heat damage to the fireplace is significantly reduced, if not eliminated. Studies show that with a Heat Reflector, a 20% to 42% increase in additional heat going into the home is possible, depending upon the fireplace and type of fuel.
